The investigative division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan city a prepares materials to clarify the circumstances of the death of an 8-year-old child, the Investigative Committee of Armenia told Armenian News -NEWS.am.

According to preliminary data, the body of a boy (born in 2010) was taken to the Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center at about 3:10pm on Saturday.

In the course of the preparation of the materials, it turned out that the 18-year-old brother found the 8-year-old boy, hanged in their house.

According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic physician, during an external examination no signs of violence were found on the body.

An investigation is underway.
