In terms of the settlement of the Karabakh conflict for Azerbaijan, we are talking about the return of the territories around Nagorno-Karabakh, autonomy and territorial integrity in general, former U.S. co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick said.
These two elements should be part of the discussion, he said adding that it is necessary to discuss issues of peacekeeping forces, the return of refugees and internally displaced persons.
According to him, it is also necessary to discuss infrastructure issue.
You cannot simply select one element and say that this is the settlement, he said adding that everything needs to be agreed.
And if we set aside small steps aimed at creating an atmosphere of mutual trust, then both leaders need to voice these problems and agree on a full package that includes all the issues, he concluded.
