YEREVAN. – The rights of military servicemen in Germany are protected by a special institute of the Ombudsman.

German Ambassador Bernhard Matthias Kiesler on Wednesday noted about the aforesaid in his welcoming remarks during a seminar at the National Assembly of Armenia, and devoted to parliamentary oversight of the Armenian Armed Forces.

The seminar is held on the margins of the NATO Week in Armenia.

In the German diplomat’s words, all armed forces’ organizations that conduct situation overseeing and monitoring need to work in concert.

Ambassador Kiesler said the German track-record shows that this is a very useful tool, and it enables to increase the level of efficiency of the armed forces.
