At a meeting with Minister of Higher Education of Syria Dr. Ghayath Barakat, Armenian Ambassador to Syria Arshak Poladyan conveyed to him his Armenian counterpart Armen Ashotyan’s invitation to visit Armenia.

The Armenian foreign office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Dr. Ghayath Barakat was glad to accept the invitation. The sides reached a preliminary agreement to schedule the visit for this May or early June.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues of further cooperation in education and science.
