YEREVAN. – Summing up our activities for the first three months of this year, we have come to the conclusion that the 2019 budget revenues will be overfulfilled by 40 billion drams; that is, by close to $90 million.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday stated the aforesaid at the National Assembly of Armenia, as he presented the 2018 activity report of the government.

In his view, this means that the government will overfulfill the program of the 2019 State Budget revenues.

“This is an unprecedented phenomenon in the last nine years because in the past we [Armenia] haven’t had a situation for quite a long time when the budget revenues would be overfulfilled—and with such huge amounts, in that,” Pashinyan added.

The PM noted that owing to these financial resources, they plan to increase the salaries of military servicemen by 10 percent, as of July 1, and as of September 1, to increase the salaries of public school teachers—and with the same amount.
