YEREVAN. – There are designs in Armenia’s military industry, and they can have serial production.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday said the abovementioned at the National Assembly, during the debates on the 2018 activity report of the government.

At the same tine, however, the PM accepted that these designs were still at the testing phase.

‘Also, we [Armenia] should be ready for the export of our [military] products, since the arms market is quite huge,” Pashinyan added. “So we need to try to form a certain demand for our [military] product.”

“The [Armenian] military industry complex should be able to create new types and products of military equipment,” the PM noted. “Designs which are not in other countries.”

Nikol Pashinyan added that there was a need to be flexible regarding this matter and to act several steps ahead.
