YEREVAN. – Armenia has achieved truce by forcing Azerbaijan to peace, MP from “My Step” bloc Andranik Kocgaryan said.

He commented on the statement by Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan who said “lands for peace” format could be changed into “new war – new lands” formula in case of new aggression by Azerbaijan.

The MP, in particular, noted that concept of peace has always been a part of Armenia’s military doctrine.

“We have no problems in terms of solving additional military issues today, as we are tasked with achieving peace by worthy means. I can confidently say that we solved the problem of peace with the creation of our army,” said Kocharyan, head of parliament’s standing committee on defense and security.
