Armenia has several advantages in the field of IT, the head of the Jurisdiction Armenia Foundation Ashot Aslanyan told reporters on Wednesday.

According to him, the most important Armenian advantages are a rich culture and a high level of education.

Aslanyan highlighted that besides these advantages, the business environment for IT companies is also developed in Armenia, while the desire of Armenian companies to enter competitive markets is obvious.

“We strive to ensure that the IT sector is attractive not only for business, but also for people with ideas. It’s no secret that today ideas are the source of big money, ” he concluded.

As reported earlier, Yerevan will host on April 4-5 a summit with the participation of world leaders in the IT industry - Intel Corporation, Skolkovo Foundation, Marvel Distribution, Dell EMC, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, ABBYY, IBM , Kaspersky Lab , Yandex, etc.
