The Eastern Partnership initiative is not a conspiracy against any country, the head of the EU delegation in Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Switalski told reporters on Thursday.
According to him, Europe already feels the results of cooperation within Eastern Partnership.
The agreements on a comprehensive and expanded partnership with the EU, work on the visa liberalization are a vivid example of cooperation taking into account the interests of each party, he noted adding that both the southern and the eastern direction of EP are important pillars for the EU.
The envoy touched upon Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) - a system of transport corridors designed to eliminate gaps in communication between countries within the EU and at its borders.
According to him, the total cost of the project is about 13 billion euros.
Piotr Switalski also highlighted the importance of cooperation in education, while the implementation of the Erasmus + program is aimed at further promoting the modernization and sustainable development of education and training systems, supporting the development of youth policy and sports, as well as the activities of the European School in Tbilisi.
As reported earlier, the Eastern Partnership celebrates its 10th anniversary, while numerous events are expected in the EU and Eastern Partnership member states.
