Armenian Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan commented on the statement of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about his instructions to institute a criminal case in relation to alleged misuse committed by one of his close relatives.
The CPC provides for a clear range of duties and rights, Tatoyan told reporters adding that the powers to give instructions about the initiation of a criminal case are reserved for the prosecutor, but not the prime minister.
