YEREVAN. – Gevorg Gorgisyan, secretary of the “Bright Armenia” Faction at the National Assembly, on Wednesday spoke at the expert hearings on the 27th anniversary of the Armenian civilian population’s mass annihilation by the Azerbaijani troops in Maragha village.

Gorgisyan stressed that today security is the key issue on the negotiating table to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict.

“The question of where the security threats come from needs to be raised,” he concluded. “We have necessary facts that enable to substantiate the demand and the need for the recognition of Karabakh’s independence.”
