If the bill on changes in the structure of the government leaves people unemployed, we will definitely be against the bill. This is what leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan told journalists at the National Assembly on 16 April, touching upon the question on whether the political party’s parliamentary faction would vote against the bill on changes in the structure of the government or not.

“First of all, the government has to tell us how many people will be laid off and what will happen to those people,” Tsarukyan said.

According to the bill on changes in the structure of the government, there will be 12 ministries instead of 17. In particular, the new cabinet will not include the Ministries of Agriculture, Diaspora and Culture.
