Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, whop is on an official visit to Latvia, had a working breakfast with Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis. The sides discussed the opportunities of developing bilateral economic relations.

The RA presidential press office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the sides pointed out the available potential for developing the bilateral relations. The Armenian President and Latvian Premier pointed out the prospects for cooperation in tourist and metallurgic industries, as well as in a number of other fields. The sides pointed out the need for an Armenian-Latvian intergovernmental commission.

President Serzh Sargsyan and Premier Valdis Dombrovskis also discussed frequent mutual visits, active contacts, and strengthening of business ties. The two expressed the confidence that business congresses contribute to this process. In this context, the sides pointed out the importance of the Yerevan-Riga scheduled flight.

The Armenian President also visited the Armenian church in Riga. He held a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community. "I set myself a decent task of conveying to you the greetings of our people and Motherland and re-state that, irrespective of there an Armenian lives we are one nation and our out power is in our unity," the Armenian leader said.

The stronger is the Armenian Diaspora the stronger is Armenia and vice versa.

The Armenian President welcomes the fact that, as part of Latvian society, the Armenians remember their language, religion and Motherland.

Today Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has returned to Yerevan.
