Economic blockade is the main obstacle to development of Armenia’s economy, Vice Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Samvel Balasanyan stated at the meeting with students from Antwerp and Maryland Universities on March 11. Armenian economist Tatul Manaseryan accompanied the group of students at the Armenian National Assembly.

Balasanyan presented Armenia’s foreign policy priorities and answered the students’ questions on improvement of the country’s economy. Commenting on the questions what hinders rapid development of Armenian’s economy, Balasanyan indicated the economic blockade by Turkey and Azerbaijan.
