If the EU can’t help Iran counterinfluence US sanctions, the nuclear deal will be pointless and Tehran may reconsider its participation, Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Javad Zarif told RIA Novosti.

“If Iran’s interests are protected in the nuclear deal and the EU stays true to its commitments, Iran will implement the provisions prescribed by the deal,” Zarif said.

According to Zarif, Iran’s participation in the deal depends on Tehran’s benefit and the EU’s behavior.
