March 9 to 12, Armenian banks purchased a total of U.S. $44,818,288 at an average exchange rate of 367.13 AMD/U.S. $1 and sold U.S. $49,402,099 at an average exchange rate of 368.3 AMD/U.S. $1.

The press service of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that a total of U.S. $8,270,000 worth transactions were effected on NASDAQ OMX Armenia during the period under review.

A total of U.S. $400,000 worth transactions were effected on the domestic banking market, the average exchange rate being 367.82 AMD/U.S. $1.

February 28 to March 6, Armenia banks issued AMD credits totaling 20.6 billion AMD (about U.S. $57 million). Credits in terms of U.S. dollars amounted to U.S. $47.9 million.
