Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu held phone conversations with his counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE and Iran.

The ministers discussed regional problems, in particular intervention of Saudi forces into Bahrain to calm down the unrest, Turkish Zaman newspaper reports.

Earlier Bahrain recalled vice-ambassador from Tehran after Iran criticized the country for attempts to settle domestic problems with foreign assistance.
