On March 24, at 3.16 a.m. local time a 3.3 magnitude earthquake hit Kakheti region of Georgia, 46 km east of Tbilisi in, Novosti-Georgia reports referring to Institute of Earth Sciences of the Ilia State University.

The epicenter was located 1 kilometer of Tulari village, north-west of the monastery complex David Gareja.

There were no reports of casualties.
