On March 27, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi in Tehran.

Nalbandian stressed the importance of improving Armenia-Iran ties in all directions, Press TV reports.

The sides emphasized the necessity of joint ventures and development of cooperation in the field of energy.

The Armenian delegation headed by President Serzh Sargsyan arrived in Tehran at the invitation of Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the occasion of Novruz holiday.
