Armenian police captain Arthur Hakobyan, who was taken to “Grigor Lusavorich” medical center with gunshot wounds, has regained consciousness and is recovering, the intensive care department of the medical center informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. Hakobyan was wounded in the abdomen and thighs, but there are no life-threatening wounds. He is under the supervision of the police.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, on March 29, Armenian police officer tried to rob Nor-Nork branch of Converse Bank in Yerevan. He entered one of the Yerevan branches of Converse Bank and started firing.

The criminal was neutralized by the policemen who arrived at the scene. The robber, identified as the head of Custody Service of Nor Nork police department, captain Arthur Hakobyan was injured and taken to hospital.
