On April 1, at 5:29 p.m. Moscow time, a 6,3 magnitude earthquake hit the Mediterranean Sea, Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute at Bogazici University reports.
The first tremor was registered in Turkey, particularly in the province of Antalya, Mugla, as well as in Greece, Cyprus and Egypt.
The Armenian Seismic Protection Service did not record a tremor, the Armenian Emergency Situations Ministry informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
