Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is a member of the President-led Armenian delegation presently on a visit to Belgrade, held a meeting April 4 with his Serbian counterpart Vuk Jeremic.

The press service of the Armenian foreign office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Serbian President Boris Tadic`s visit to Armenia, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan`s visit to Serbia, as well as bilateral presidential agreements, open a new chapter in bilateral relations. This is evidence of mutual willingness to develop bilateral cooperation. The Armenian FM pointed out that regular ministerial meetings enable the sides to supervise the implementation of presidential agreements and exchange views on various issues.

The sides thoroughly discussed a wide range of issues of Armenian-Serbian relations, particularly bilateral cooperation within international agencies, consultations between foreign offices, expansion of legal underpinnings, economic cooperation and cultural exchanges.
