Speaker of Russia’s State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin has been nominated and re-elected as the chairman of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly during Assembly Council’s meeting in Yerevan on Tuesday, October 5.
Volodin’s candidacy was proposed by the speaker of the Kyrgyz parliament Dastanbek Dzhumabekov. The proposal was unanimously supported by all members of the CSTO PA Council.
The agenda of the plenary session of the CSTO PA was approved.
