The Istanbul daily newspaper Agos which has been published in Turkish and Armenian since 1996, will remain deposited in the archive of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Nouvelles d`Arménie writes.

The decision was made at the suggestion of Ufuk Uras, an MP from pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy party, when the newspaper was going to celebrate its 15 anniversary, Milliyet newspaper reports.

Agos was founded in 1996 by Armenian Hrant Dink. Dink was its chief editor from the newspaper’s start until his assassination outside of the newspaper’s offices in Istanbul in January 2007.
