YEREVAN. - One of the Internet communication channels supplying traffic to Armenia was damaged in Georgia on Thursday.

ArmenTel Spokeswoman Anush Begloyan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Georgian specialists recovered the failure within 20 minutes.

“At about 3:00 p.m. the communication was restored and ArmenTel clients are supplied with uninterrupted traffic now,” she said.

Earlier, on March 28 Internet communication was cut off in Armenia. Georgian sources report that a 75 year old woman damaged fiber optic cable while looking for copper in a gorge.
