YEREVAN. -  A rapid response team from the Office of the Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia has left for the lawyer's office where a National Security Service (NSS) investigator is to seize the lawyer's computers as part of a criminal case. The Ombudsman’s office has noted this in a statement.

As reported earlier, an NSS investigator wants to confiscate the computers of lawyer Hovhannes Chamsaryan. The lawyer told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the law prohibits the seizure of a lawyer's computer because it contains confidential information. His lawyer, Aramazd Kiviryan, and the chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia, Ara Zohrabyan, are also at Chamsaryan’s office.
