The Supreme Body of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun political party’s Armenia Chapter today hosted US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy, reports the Supreme Body of the ARF-D Armenia Chapter.

Ambassador Lynne Tracy was escorted by Head of the Political and Economic Unit of the US Embassy in Armenia Ryan Campbell and political affairs expert Lilit Ohanyan. The ARF-D Armenia Chapter was represented by representative of the Supreme Body Ishkhan Saghatelyan, as well as members of the Supreme Body Artsvik Minasyan, Lilit Galstyan and Ashot Simonyan. Expressing gratitude to the Ambassador for the initiative to hold the meeting and congratulated her on assuming the office of US Ambassador to Armenia, Ishkhan Saghatelyan gave an overall description of the political realities that formed in Armenia after shift of power and particularly shared the evaluations and several concerns of the Armenia Chapter in regard to the political processes unfolding in Armenia. Ambassador Tracy particularly stated the following: “I value the longstanding relations of the US Embassy with Armenia’s political parties, including the ARF-D. The US continues to stay true to its commitment to support the social, economic and democratic management in Armenia, just like it has stayed true to its commitment throughout the past 27 years of the diplomatic relations between the US and Armenia.” At the end, the parties expressed certainty to hold regular meetings and share each other’s approaches.
