Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan today met with President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly George Tsereteli, as reported the news service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Greeting the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Minister Mnatsakanyan underscored Armenia’s commitment to expanding multilateral cooperation within the framework of the organization and stated that this visit serves as a good opportunity to benchmark the scopes of the future programs and initiatives.

The interlocutors touched upon the broad agenda of reforms underway in Armenia and the opportunities for cooperation with the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly within the framework of those reforms.

They also exchanged views on a number of pressing global and regional issues. Touching upon the latest developments of the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Armenia’s foreign minister emphasized the importance of shaping a favorable environment for peace within the scope of the agreed format for settlement of the conflict. In this context, the interlocutors attached importance to the implementation of activities aimed at preparing the peoples for peace.
