YEREVAN. - The supporters of opposition are marching to Liberty Square in the center of Armenian capital.
Armenian-News-NEWS.am correspondent reports that, speaking at the demonstration, Head of the Central Office of oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Zurabyan stated that the authorities are violating people’s right to hold rallies in Liberty Square.
“As many people decided to march to Liberty Square, we cannot disobey people’s will,” Zurabyan said.
At present, the participants of demonstration, leaded by the ANC, are marching along Mashtots Avenue toward Liberty Square. The oppositionists intend to “peacefully enter” Liberty Square. The ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan is expected to address the people at a rally in Liberty Square.
