YEREVAN. - The World Psychiatric Association (WPA) is to hold a regional conference in Yerevan, April 14 to 17.

The Armenian co-organizers of the conference are the Armenian Psychiatric Association and the Armenian Medical Association.

Overall, 160 to 180 Armenian psychiatrists, psychologists and other mental health experts will participate in the conference. Also, 270 to 350 foreign professionals are expected to arrive. To date, 164 specialists from 36 countries have re-affirmed their intention to participate in the conference.

The conference program envisages ten lecturers, 25 symposiums and five seminars. The WBA holds biannual regional conference in different countries.
