British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and US President Donald Trump have talked to each other and are looking forward to seeing you this week, Independent reported referring to White House Deputy Spokeswoman Judd Deere.

According to Deere, the US President, who expressed his condolences for the attack on the London Bridge, will attend a reception at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday before joining world leaders at the NATO summit in Watford in the UK.

Earlier Johnson warned Trump not to interfere in the electoral processes in the country when the US president urged him to enter into an alliance with Brexit party leader Nigel Farage.

The Trump administration, in turn, said that the president is well aware of the importance of not interfering in the elections of other states.
