Prosecutor General’s Office of Belarus declared Minsk subway blast “an act of terrorism” and began a criminal investigation.
According to latest data, 12 people were killed in the blast. Spokesman for Armenian Foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that there are no Armenian citizens among the victims.
As reported earlier, a blast hit Oktyabrskaya subway station in
Oktyabrskaya is the busiest metro station, which is located near President Alexander Lukashenko’s residence. The explosive device went off as two trains were arriving at the station, where two metro lines intersect.
