make preferableYEREVAN. – Two employees of the penitentiaries were detained in two of the 12 penitentiaries. Artur Goyunyan, head of Armenia’s Penitentiary Service, said this at a press conference today.
"One of them is a security department employee who brought with him a large amount of drugs (...) to Armavir penitentiary to transfer to convicts and prisoners; he was under our surveillance, was caught at the scene," he said. “And the other is the Nubarashen penitentiary, where the measure was held jointly with the NSS. Here, a security department employee brought in (…) two psychotropic pills and was caught on the spot. A large amount of narcotic drugs were found at Sevan penitentiary (…) this night."
