YEREVAN. – Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan rejected accusations that he had presented a forged signature.
“This never happened. The prosecutors and police will do their jobs,” Marutyan told reporters when asked about the statement of Luys faction member Davit Khazhakyan.
Khazhakyan, member of the Council of Elders from Luys faction, accused the mayor of abuse of power and falsification.
The prosecutor’s office said they are investigating the case.
