Cooperation in the international arena has shown that Russia can rely on Armenia, said Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin.

According to him, Yerevan has taken steps to increase credibility and develop relations with other countries.

“Russia highly appreciates interaction at various international venues," he said. "The results of the vote on issues of fundamental importance for Russia show that Armenia remains a key and reliable partner and Moscow can rely on Armenia in difficult situations."

He also drew attention to the successful activities of the Armenian humanitarian contingent in Syria, adding that there are favorable conditions for deepening the dialogue on foreign policy issues.
