The MiG-29 fighter crashed in the northwestern part of Iran on Wednesday afternoon, leaving the pilot dead, IRIB reported.
A number of sources report the death of the pilot of the MiG-29 fighter, IRIB said in a statement.
The incident occurred in the Sabalan mountains near the city of Ardabil in northwestern Iran.
