Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Grigor Hovhannisyan today held a year-end meeting with Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Armenia Mohamed Al-Zaabi, Ambassador of Egypt Bahaa El Din Bahgat Dessouki, Ambassador of Lebanon Maya Dagher, Third Secretary of the Embassy of Iraq Dalya Ahmed and Consul of the Embassy of Syria Bashar Safie, reports the news service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

During the meeting, the deputy foreign minister presented Armenia’s policy on and priorities for the Middle East. The minister and the counterparts of the Middle East recapped the activities jointly carried out during the year and discussed the major events and programs scheduled for the coming year.

The opportunities for admission of foreign students in Armenian universities and the prospects for implementation of university exchange programs with the universities of Arab countries were presented to the ambassadors of the Arab countries of the Middle East as new prospective directions, and the opportunities for export of products of Armenia’s provinces and the growth of tourism were also touched upon.
