Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Saturday revealed the name of the country's new prime minister, Reuters reported.
A university professor and former diplomat Abdelaziz Djerad, 65, served in the presidential administration in the 1990s, but was dismissed by the ousted president - Abdelaziz Bouteflika - in April this year.
