Apple said Saturday that all of its stores and corporate offices in China will be closed by February 9 due to concerns over coronavirus, CNBC reported.

“Our thoughts are with the people most immediately affected by the Coronavirus and with those working around the clock to study and contain it.”

“Out of an abundance of caution and based on the latest advice from leading health experts, we’re closing all our corporate offices, stores and contact centers in mainland China through February 9,” the statement said.

Apple said that all stores of the company will be reopened as early as possible. The company earlier closed three of its stores in China. Foreign companies such as Starbucks and McDonald's have also taken similar measures.
