US state of Washington reported three more deaths from coronavirus in the Seattle-area, Reuters reported.

According to the health department, the total number of people diagnosed with coronavirus in the Seattle-area reached 27 as of Tuesday.

Nine of them were connected to a long-term nursing-care facility called LifeCare in the Seattle suburb of Kirkland. Five of those who died had been LifeCare residents.

According to the latest data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 108 cases of coronavirus infection have been officially confirmed in the country. Sixty infected were identified in 12 states, plus 48 people, most of whom were infected on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship off the Japanese coast.
