Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic), presidential candidate Masis Mayilyan’s political team has refuted the news about a ban on entry into the Russian Federation spread by mass media outlets.

“Mr. Mayilyan has already declared that this is misinformation. It is a classic example of black PR that certain mass media outlets have been using against Masis Mayilyan for several months now,’ Gegham Baghdasaryan, representative of Mayilyan’s political team, told Armenian News-NEWS.am today.

Earlier, the presses had released information according to which the Russian Federation has prohibited the entry of Masis Mayilyan and Samvel Babayan for a five-year period. During a conversation with Hraparak newspaper (website), the Embassy of Russia in Armenia refused to comment on the press releases regarding the ban on the entry of Masis Mayilyan and Samvel Babayan into the Russian Federation. “Diplomatically speaking, if they don’t comment, they confirm, and they simply don’t want to repeat what you wrote in words,” the website reported.
