Politicians, diplomats and public figures gathered at Moscow’s Central House of Writers on Wednesday to pay tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.  

They shared the opinion that similar tragedies should not occur in the future. 

“I think there is no Armenian family not affected by this tragedy. Lack of sufficient condemnation of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire led to more casualties among the Jews during the Second World War,” said Eduard Ghulyan, co-chairman of “Friends of Karabakh” club.
