The first case of the novel coronavirus infection has been reported in Turkey. This was informed by the country’s minister of health, Fahrettin Koca, Anadolu reports.

"The analysis has shown a positive result," the minister said.

According to him, the infected man had recently returned from a trip to Europe.

Koca added that this patient is under quarantine, but his overall health condition is satisfactory.

The patient's family members, as well as those who were in close contact with him, were taken under supervision.
