Giorgio Armani S.p.A. has decided to temporarily close its stores, restaurants and hotel in Milan, reports Interfax, citing ASNA.

In late February, Armani hosted its fashion show without an audience and donated EUR 1.25 million for the fight against coronavirus.

Italy is taking coarse measures to fight against the spread of coronavirus. All schools and universities are closed, weddings and funeral services are prohibited, movie theaters, theaters and museums have closed their doors. The authorities still haven’t announced the closure of stores and restaurants.

Italy has reported 8,500 cases of coronavirus, and 631 people have died.
