Russian and Turkish presidents, Vladimir Putin and Recep Erdogan, have discussed the situation in Idlib over the phone, Kremlin’s press service reported.
The leaders discussed issues related to the implementation of the agreements reached during the Russian-Turkish summit in Moscow on March 5.
A significant decrease in tension in the Idlib de-escalation zone was noted, it is said.
The importance of continuing close collaboration, primarily through the ministries of defense of Russia and Turkey, was confirmed to ensure a stable cessation of hostilities and further stabilize the situation.
