The Information Checking Center informs that it is being reported, through Facebook groups and fake profiles, that, allegedly, 11 civilians and 27 servicemen with coronavirus symptoms were transferred to the Stepanakert central hospital of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

The “report” with the same content was disseminated back on March 5 by a fake Facebook page in the name of Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan, but administered by Azerbaijan. Both this “report” and Sahakyan having an official Facebook page were refuted.

However, as new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Armenia, this disinformation has begun to be disseminated again.

The Information Checking Center contacted Artsakh Health Minister Arayik Baghryan, who also dismissed this “report,” saying that there was no case of coronavirus in Artsakh and all necessary preventive measures were being implemented.
