Iranian authorities have said that US President Donald Trump should review the conduct of the US armed forces in the region instead of making accusations against other countries, Press TV reports.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyed Abbas Mousavi dismissed the US president's accusations, calling them "baseless."
"Instead of taking dangerous steps and baseless accusations, Mr. Trump should carefully review the presence and conduct of his forces in the region," Mousavi said.
He also called on the United States to "seriously avoid blaming others for the spread of the [corona]virus and making accusations in order to justify its own illogical behavior and to avoid responsibility."
