Spain has announced strict isolation as part of a 15-day state of emergency to fight coronavirus, Reuters reported.

All Spaniards must stay home except to buy food, medicines, go to work or the hospital or for emergencies.

Bars, restaurants, and non-food shops close. All places of entertainment and sports activities, including cinemas, theaters, pools, and stadiums, will also be closed.

The government has announced that Begona Gomez, the wife of Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez, has tested positive for coronavirus.

According to the latest data, the number of people infected with coronavirus in Spain has reached 6,250 people, and the death toll is 193.
