Former US Vice President Joe Biden has pledged to choose a female vice president if he wins the Democratic nomination, Washington Post reported.
His remarks came during the debate with Sen. Bernie Sanders.
“There are a number of women who are qualified to be president tomorrow. I would pick a woman to be my vice president,” Biden said.
The fifty-ninth US presidential election will be held on November 3.
