The UK Queen Elizabeth II has returned to Buckingham Palace in London despite the coronavirus outbreak, Evening Standard reported.

The Queen traveled back to the Palace after her weekend break at Windsor Castle in Berkshire to continue to deal with her official papers.

The Sun has earlier reported that the 93-year-old Queen and her 99-year-old spouse, Prince Philip, could be quarantined at the Royal Sandringham Estate.

The UK government recommends people aged over 70 to isolate themselves for up to four months. The UK has already confirmed 1.5 thousand cases of coronavirus. The death toll has reached 55.
